Azurite is a copper carbonate mineral with a hardness of 3.5 – 4. It has a monoclinic crystal system occurring in botryoidal or prismatic crystal forms. Appears frequently with Malachite and is a part of a psuedomorph group along with malachite, chrysocolla, and shattuckite. These nodules have a very intense color that comes from the copper in it's structure. These are exceptionally high quality for azurite geodes. You will receive both halves as pictured.
